Areas of Interest: Dr. Mondy’s current areas of interest include academic inpatient infectious diseases, antibiotic stewardship, care of underserved HIV populations, and local work with Vivent Health (formerly AIDS Services of Austin). Another focus is strengthening research and scholarly opportunities for Dell Medical faculty, residents, and students. She is partnering with the LCID in this area, working with LCID Member Dr. Bryan Davies on various research projects. Dr. Mondy also maintains an active involvement in educational support, including postgraduate medical education, continuing medical education, mentorships and didactic, small-group medical school teaching.
