LCID Director Speaks About Omicron Breakthrough Infection Risk 

Dr. Shelley M. Payne, LCID Director, was among three experts recently interviewed by Healthline.com about studies looking at COVID-19 breakthrough infection risk with the Omicron variant. She said that while studies on neutralizing antibodies against the variant are useful, scientists will also need to look at real-world data on breakthrough infections among individuals vaccinated for COVID-19 as the variant spreads.
